if a computer would be useful to you. Review the items and see
how owning a computer can make your life easier!

business, and/or organization. I provide the annual financial
report for my organization. I need to update my accounts on
a regular basis. I use a calculator/adding machine to figure
my totals.
DATABASE I maintain a long mailing list for my family
or organization. I keep records of my property (livestock, antique
collection, craft items for sale, etc.). I need to update my
records regularly. I send regular mailings to a group of people.
DESK TOP PUBLISHER I make flyers and posters for my organization.

the design of a newsletter for my organization. I like creating
printed material.
PAINT TOOLS I want to include colored images in my creation.

GENEALOGY I do genealogical research. I want to write
a family history. I want to include photos in my records. I
want to be able to update my records with ease.
GAMES I want to let my grandchildren play on the computer.
I want to improve my hand/eye coordination. I want to entertain
myself. I want to challenge my thinking speed.
INTERNET & ELECTRONIC MAIL I want to be in touch with
family and friends around the world more regularly. I want to
join an Internet Newsgroup that deals with specific things (eg.
Medical conditions, sports, WWII, crafts). I want to do genealogical
research using the Internet. I want to advertise my business,
organization, family history, etc. on the Internet.
